NomNom is a Thai restaurant in Johor Bahru with two dining rooms, one in Taman Mount Austin and one in Taman Pelangi. Their tagline says it best: Elevating Thai flavours in style.
The style is part of the visit. At Mount Austin, the red walls are hung with picture frames beside a wall of vinyl records, under a red crystal chandelier, with round carved tables. At Pelangi the scheme is red and blue, which one guest calls trendy yet nostalgic

The place and food is excellent. The ambience was amazing. It’s good for big group and small family as well. For me a person who hardly take spicy food would recommend the Spicy Tom Yum Seafood Soup. Steamed Seabass With Garlic & Chili was fresh. Beef On Stone were tender. Stir Fried Paku Pakis was amazingly good.
A great place to have meals. The decor is somewhat trendy yet nostalgic. The red & blue theme definitely gives good vibes for a chatty friend or family gathering. Food served was sweet, sour, salty, and spicy mixed beautifully.
Highly recommended to make a reservation to dine here as it is super packed with diners. We did their 1st dinner seating and was there 30mins before our reservation and already 1/2 filled. The food and drinks we order were all yummy and fresh.
